I have been a sportscaster since 1983. I can honestly say I am blessed to have a job which I have a passion for, and look forward to each and every day.
In particular, local sports. Local sports is our lifeline. I love to watch people compete, to see athletes show their true emotions in both victory and defeat. Working in Bakersfield has been a blessing as well, as I can call many of the coaches and athletes I cover friends.
