Sarah Spain is a columnist for espnW, a SportsCenter reporter, host of the “That’s What She Said” podcast and co-host of Spain and Fitz, airing weekdays, 3-6 p.m. ET on ESPN Radio. Since joining ESPN in 2010 Spain has also contributed to other programs and platforms at the company, including The Dan Le Batard Show, Russillo & Kanell, His & Hers and Olbermann. She previously co-hosted ESPN Radio’s first all-women program, espnW Presents: The Trifecta, and also co-hosted Izzy and Spain.
Prior to joining ESPN, Spain wrote a popular sports blog on ChicagoNow.com, acted as a recurring guest-host of ChicagoNow radio on WGN AM-720 and was a freelance writer for the Chicago Tribune Red Eye. Sarah also did some sideline reporting for the Big Ten Network and hosted the Coors Light Fantasy Players Minute, an online fantasy football show.
Spain received a bachelor’s degree in English in 2002 from Cornell University, where she competed as a heptathlete and served as the co-captain of the track & field team.

Jason Fitz is the co-host of ESPN Radio’s Spain and Fitz, alongside espnW signature voice Sarah Spain. The show launched January 2, 2018 as part of a revamped weekday lineup on the national network. Fitz also is one of three hosts of ESPN’s SportsCenter on Snapchat, a twice-daily digital sports show that debuted November 13, 2017 and features a mix of the latest sports news, highlights and commentary. Fitz, who joined ESPN in August 2016, previously hosted the weekend ESPN Radio show Jordan Rogers & Jason Fitz with SEC Network analyst Jordan Rogers, as well as the local Braden & Fitz program on ESPN 1025 The Game in Nashville, which ran from August 2016 until December 2017. He has also hosted a variety of college football programming across ESPN’s platforms including CFB Daily on ESPNU and the Twitter exclusive Rankings Reactions with Mike Golic Jr. Fitz was previously a member of the chart-topping country music group, serving as the band’s musical director and fiddle player. A GRAMMY-nominated artist and acclaimed multi-instrument musician, Fitz studied classical violin at The Julliard School. He is based in Bristol, Conn.
